No. Home Movers Plus is a concierge service and does not provide legal advice. The legal work is carried out by SRA-regulated firms on our panel. We handle quoting, onboarding, chasing and updates around that work.
How much does conveyancing cost?
Your quote has a fixed legal fee plus disbursements such as searches and Land Registry fees. We put the whole figure in writing before you instruct, and there are no completion-day surprises.
How quickly do I get a quote?
Same day. Send us the postcode, property value and whether you are buying, selling or both, and a named concierge comes back to you with a fixed price.
What happens if my move falls through?
You pay us nothing. Disbursements already paid to third parties, such as searches, are not refundable, and we will always tell you before any of them are ordered.
How do you choose the firms on your panel?
Every firm is SRA-regulated, holds a minimum 4.7★ review rating, responds to client questions within 48 hours, and quotes fixed fees. We review ratings monthly and remove firms that slip.
Do I get one point of contact?
Yes. One named concierge from quote to keys. They know your file, and you never have to explain it twice.
Where do you cover?
England and Wales. We match you to a panel firm that covers your postcode and knows the local search requirements.
Do you sell my details?
Never. Your case goes to one vetted firm. You will not be contacted by a list of companies you have never heard of.
How long will my move take?
Twelve weeks is our average for a freehold purchase. Leasehold usually adds two to four weeks because of the management pack, and chains take as long as the slowest link.
I'm a law firm — how do I join the panel?
Apply through our law firms page. We ask for your SRA number, the locations you cover and your monthly case capacity, and come back within two working days.
