What we are
Home Movers Plus is a concierge service and does not provide legal advice. Conveyancing is carried out by SRA-regulated firms on our panel.
Quotes
Quotes state a fixed legal fee plus disbursements. They are based on the information you give us and are valid for 30 days. If the facts of the move change materially, the quote may change, and we will tell you before anything is charged.
Fall-throughs
If your move falls through you pay us nothing. Disbursements already paid to third parties, such as searches, are not refundable. We will always tell you before any disbursement is ordered.
Your relationship with the panel firm
The legal work is carried out under a separate retainer between you and the SRA-regulated firm. Their terms, complaints procedure and regulatory obligations apply to that work.
Liability
We are responsible for the concierge service we provide. We are not liable for the legal advice or conduct of the panel firm, which is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
