Who we are
Our role alongside Collective Legal
Collective Legal has appointed Home Movers Plus Ltd to manage their conveyancing quotes, client enquiries and the instruction process. We are not a law firm — all legal work is carried out by Collective Legal, under their own regulatory oversight.
We are a specialist conveyancing quote management service, contracted directly by Collective Legal to manage initial client enquiries, quotations and the instruction process on their behalf. We operate as an extension of their client onboarding function — under their oversight, and with their full knowledge and approval.
Home Movers Plus Ltd (Company No. 13764928, registered in England and Wales) is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. All legal work is carried out exclusively by Collective Legal, which is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
The file opening fee that confirms your instruction is taken by Home Movers Plus Ltd. It is already included within your quoted total and deducted accordingly — it is not an additional charge.

The process
From your quote to your case handler
Your quote reaches us
Through reallymoving, a comparison site, the law firm's own website or a direct enquiry. It lands with our desk, not a call centre.
We call and check it
We confirm the property details are right, explain what is fixed and what is a disbursement, and look for any further discount.
We open the file
If you're happy, we confirm instruction on the call, take the file opening fee securely by Stripe with 3D Secure, and email written confirmation immediately.
Handover to your law firm
Your file passes to the firm's case handler, whose name, direct line and email are in your confirmation. Legal work is theirs from that point.
From the point of handover, all legal matters are handled directly by Collective Legal. Our team remains available for any question about your quote or the instruction process.

Come back to our team first
If your chain collapses
Your file goes on hold. Come back to us to be requoted when you find a new property — there is no time limit and your file opening fee carries forward.
If your lender changes
Tell us straight away. If the firm can't act for your new lender we'll arrange a panel-approved alternative, with your fee carried forward.
If your details change
Value, tenure or transaction type changing after instruction means the quote needs reviewing before further work is done. Call us first.

Where you stand
Data & privacy
Your personal data is shared between Home Movers Plus Ltd and Collective Legal for the sole purpose of providing your conveyancing service. We process information in line with UK GDPR. Your data is never sold to third parties.
Regulatory information
Every instruction we process is done with Collective Legal's full knowledge and under their regulatory stewardship as an SRA-authorised firm. You are protected by the same regulatory framework as if you had approached them directly. You can check any firm at sra.org.uk. Complaints about legal services should go to Collective Legal first, and thereafter to the Legal Ombudsman.
